Apparently, the rumors are true. In an earlier press conference, education union leaders announced a West Virginia statewide teacher strike beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, the 19th of February.
According to the Associated Press, “West Virginia teachers’ unions have called a statewide strike over an education bill they view as retaliation.”
As you likely recall, teachers scored a 5 percent pay raise after last year’s strike.
One can only wonder how long this strike could possibly last.
